We are pleased to announce that Women's Community is continuing to expand our Leadership Team! Dr. Maria Hester,
who practices in the area of internal medicine, is our new Specialty Leader in Wellness. Maria,
in addition to her medical practice, has authored a book entitled Your Family
Medical Record: An Interactive Guide to getting the Best Care, which she is in the process of revising.
She has also designed and is building her own websites, www.patientschool.net, a powerful resource for
taking care of your own healthcare and www.savvierhealth.com, designed to make businesses healthier, one
employee at a time. Check them out. Maria encourages all of us to take charge of our own healthcare.
We look forward to working with Maria as she builds her Team of Wellness Specialists.
Lots of brainstorming, enthusiasm, positive energy and camaraderie permeated Women's Community's Special Power Mixer. Specialists and other women in business shared their business challenges and exchanged ideas for solutions, such as how best to close sales during the selling process. We introduced our new leadership team of VPs, previewed Women's Community's upcoming website, and shared our vision.
Good food and good company made for a fun and productive evening.
Elinor Stutz has recently joined Women's Community as a Specialist in Sales and Marketing on the West Coast and through her company Smooth Sale,™ she provides first hand knowledge to help you increase your sales simply and easily.
As our newest Specialist, Elinor jumped at the opportunity to participate in the recent teleseminar on writing effective online articles, and here is some of what she had to say...
The information sent ahead of time was methodical and all inclusive. I have noticed over time that men will only share tidbits in hope for a sale while women are completely forthcoming with materials. I am far more inclined to do business with someone who will openly share the information they say they will and Paula did just that. Thank you!
Paula asked for questions and succinctly answered them. The listed resources provided the information on exactly what I was about to spend "hours" researching. That piece alone was exciting.
